About Pole Dancing
Most women today still want to know what it is about pole that gives you a great body and confidence, and the best way to explain it is through explaining who women work.
As little girls we wanted to be told how pretty and special we were. The problem is that there is nowhere in society where you can learn that. There is no 'grooming school' for being special. As we grow up, we may learn that there is a way to attract attention, but it is the wrong kind of attention.
Women move their bodies in different ways to men. They are more flowing and move in a circular shape, whereas men are more mechanical and focus on one body part at a time - their movement is an up-and-down motion.
Most of the fitness forms available today are focused on male movement. Gyms have excercise machines that target specific body parts and are purely mechanical in nature. This is one of the main reasons why a lot of women find gym to be extremely boring.
Pole dancing by nature is a form of dance, incorporating the whole body in a flowing, female movement. But because you need to hold your whole body up with your hands, legs or other body parts, it is an extremely effective way of building muscles fast, which enables you to lose weight fast.
The nature of the movements work with the flow of the female body, and so the mind and the body are working together, rather than disengaging. This is what leads to the confidence, and this is why we are called Body-Mind studios.
