covid-19 info (posted 16 March)

In light of the President’s announcement last night we have taken serious steps towards making sure that our students and their families are safe while training.

The studio will remain open for the foreseeable future as none of our classes exceed the 100 person limit instituted by the government. However we are very aware that students are concerned about being in a group environment.

Please see our action plan for the next 6 weeks. 
  • No spectators allowed during class (in order to limit the foot traffic in the studio)
  • No partner work will be done
  • You are required to bring your own mat to class to avoid contamination. 
  • Students choosing not to attend class will be allowed to make up their classes, as long as it falls within their contract period.
  • Sanitizer will be available at the studio and all students will be asked to use it prior to their class.
  • You are required to clean your pole before and after your class. 
  • Any changes to the Government measures could result in the total closure of the studio which will be communicated to you immediately.
  • The handstand workshop will still be held on the 21st March, however, please bring your own mat.
  • No students to attend classes if they are presenting with any flu like symptoms or have travelled in the past 15 days.
  • Please note we cannot freeze or cancel contracts early. We are a small business and if we had to do so, then the studio would be closed in less than a month as we still have overheads such as rent, instructor fees as well as many other expenses that need to be paid regardless of how many members are attending. .
  • We ask that you please remain calm. The risk of infection remains very low and if you follow the steps outlined above, you will further minimize your risks.
  • We may need to further reduce the number of classes if attendance become too low but will notify you accordingly.
  • Our timetables will be changed as of Monday 23 March.

​As a courtesy to everyone, please remember to:
  • Stay home when you are sick, except to get medical care.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects after each use.
  • Additionally, we ask that if you are returning from (or in close contact with anyone returning from) international travel from areas of the world experiencing significant outbreaks of COVID-19 that you monitor yourself closely for any symptoms, consider taking time off from the gym until you are certain you are symptom-free, and act according to the guidelines provided by the government health officials.


​We wish all our students and their families all the strength during the next few weeks, as this is unknown territory, we will all have to stand together.
